Getting Help
Google itself provides a number of self-help resources that you can tap into – in fact the largest free resource of web analytics information available. However, with the huge adoption of Google Analytics, there are also numerous self help groups, forums, enthusiasts and a global network of official Google Analytics Authorised Consultants.

- Analytics Help – Google Group
A Google Group with a threaded message-board system. Members are any Google Analytics users (and potential new users) and Google Support staff occasionally participate: www.google.com/analytics/analyticshelp
- Firefox Add-ons – see also Troubleshooting tools for web analytics
- WASP – detects what web analytics tracking codes are installed on a web page. Very useful, as no tracking code usually means no data collected! Can detect over 60 tools on the last count, including Google Analytics, Urchin, DoubleClick, Omniture, WebTrends, IndexTools, Clicktracks, Coremetrics and lots more!
- LiveHTTPHeaders – view the header information and communication that your browser sends to the web server
- Web Developer Toolbar – simply a must have!
- Firebug – excellent for degugging javascript errors
Official Google Analytics Authorized Consultants (paid)
- The Google business model gives you a free product with the option to purchase a tailored professional services package directly from a Partner in your region.
